Dr Theodosis Mourouzis
PhD in Information Security, University College London
Dr Theodosis Mourouzis holds a PhD in Information Security from University College London and degrees in Mathematics from the University of Cambridge. His expertise spans cryptography, blockchain, data science, and AI.
He is an Industry Associate at the UCL Centre for Blockchain Technologies and a mentor at the Judge Business School, University of Cambridge, and London Business School. He also serves as CEO of Electi Group and has advised organisations including the European Central Bank and government institutions on cybersecurity and emerging technologies.

Professional certifications are optional and are delivered independently of the accredited MSc programme. Examination registration and eligibility requirements are determined by the respective certification bodies.

Academic Requirements
- A Bachelor's degree (MQF Level 6) in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Mathematics or a related technical discipline from a recognised institution.
- OR
- A Bachelor's degree in another field with evidence of relevant IT knowledge or bridging studies (e.g., a Level 6 diploma in computing or an equivalent qualification).
English Proficiency
Proficiency in English equivalent to CEFR Level B2 or higher is required for all learners whose prior education was not delivered in English. Accepted evidence includes:
- IELTS: Minimum overall score of 6.0
- TOEFL iBT: Minimum score of 78
- Internal placement test
- Waived for learners whose prior education was delivered in English
